Jack Haughey

I was exposed to the world of illustration and graphic art when attempting to design my own t-shirts. I quickly learned how to use digital software to transform my hand-drawn work into digital artwork some 3 years ago while at college. Since then I have aimed to perfect my lines in a way so that my imagery remained not only bold and clean but ready to screen print whenever I may need to.
I love nature, wildlife and animals of many species. I try to incorporate shapes and features of the natural world into my work to create a surreal fusion between the organic and geometric. My main artist inspiration comes from Sandra Dieckmann, Hector Mansilla, Isabel Greenberg and Stuart Kolakovic. My work is also influenced by the many types of music I listen to, including progressive metal, indie rock and dubstep.
